FAQ
The following list should help with the most common questions. Should you have any others, please call us today, and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Q) Are the sheds built and delivered whole?
A) No, all sheds are custom-built piece by piece in your yard. No removal of fences, lawn sprinklers, hedges, etc., is needed.
Q) How much room is needed to install the shed?
A) Since the shed is built on-site, we only ask for a clear path from the driveway to structure location, a clear area around the build location and a 2-3' clearance from any obstacles (i.e., Fences, Pool, House, Tree, etc.)
Q) What if the yard is not level?
A) As part of our install process, we will level the shed floor using concrete blocks. (We do not level the actual spot)
Q) Do I need to pour a concrete pad?
A) In most cases, no. Our sheds come with a heavy-duty P.T. floor that is suitable for most storage needs.
Q) Do I need permission from my town?
A) Permits are required by some municipalities (based on shed size). We recommend you contact your zoning and building departments before installation to determine an acceptable location (Setbacks) and any building codes that may exist. If required, we will be happy to help with all forms and conditions that may be required.
Q) What forms of payment do you accept?
A) Personal checks, Visa, and MasterCard, are all accepted. 20% required upon creation of order and scheduled date, with balance upon completion of the project. (Day of Install)
Q) Are you licensed and insured?
A) Absolutely. We are a registered "Home Improvement Contractor" and are fully insured as such. H.I.C. # and proof of Insurance available upon request.
Q) How long does it take to install my new shed?
A) Most installs are completed in one day. Only the largest or elaborate custom sheds may require more than one day.
Q) How long do I have to wait once I place my order?
A) Many factors, such as weather, time of year, etc., play a role in delivery times; call our office at (732) 588-6323 and ask about current lead times.
